Be Seen Through (Part I)

On her Bold Right Life CD, singer Kierra Sheard has a song entitled Invisible. In this song she talks about a servant’s disposition as it relates to the one who is being served. As we reflect on our service to God, can we honestly say that we are Invisible? When we serve in our respective capacities, is it about us or about Him? There are ways that we can accomplish being seen through in our lives, ministries, and places of service. First, in order to be invisible we must be visible. In the song, Sheard speaks about being invisible to the point that no one can see us, but they only see God. If we are going to serve God we must be seen doing the work of God so that God can be seen through us. Then people will see our good works and glorify God who is in heaven (Matt. 5:16). It is never about us! God expects to look at us and see Himself.
